| Uhhh should we really put this glue on MY CAR? |
| Step 1: roll a thin layer of contact cement onto the car |
| Step 2: Roll a thin layer of glue onto the back side of the fabric |
| Step 3: Wait for the glue to dry - really. When both car and fabric glue is dry place fabric on car, slightly overlapping edges. |
| Step 4: Use brayer to add pressure to adhere fabric to car metal. |
| Step 5: Use a paint brush to add a little bit of glue to the edges where fabric overlaps. |
| Step 6: Use sharpie to draw embroidery stitches between fabric using traditional crazy quilt patterns. |
So if this looks like fun and you can't wait to see my van completely covered with crazy quilt fabric, come on over on Saturday Nov 6, or Sunday Nov 7 and help!
This looks like fantastic fun - wish I could be there x
